This past weekend, we hosted Pastor Mujahid El Masih.  He shared with us about his life in Islam, his coming to faith in Jesus, his ministry, the persecution he endured, and how God brought him to the United States.  He also shared with us three sessions on Christianity and Islam.

This link will take you his testimony that he shared Sunday morning  https://archive.org/details/Masihtestimony

Session 1 of his presentation on Christianity & Islam can be found at https://archive.org/details/ChristianityAndIslamSession1

Session 2 - https://archive.org/details/ChristianityAndIslamSession2

Session 3 - https://archive.org/details/ChristianityAndIslamSession3

The only part of his presentation that went unrecorded was the adult Sunday School hour on Sunday morning, where he talked about Silent Jihad.

I've just released another short work on Amazon.  So often, we go through the motions of faith. We go to church, sing the songs, and bow our head to pray. However, even though we do all the right things, our heart and attitude are displeasing to God. If this is to change, if we're to be acceptable to God, we must first be broken. If we're to be pleasing to him, our heart must be crushed.  You can purchase this ebook at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JV58KL6

On Maundy Thursday, we talked about arrogance and humility.  Even though we're turned off by arrogance, most of us display this quality in many ways.  Jesus, however, calls us to a life of humility and service.  This message can be heard at https://archive.org/details/TrueHumility

On Good Friday, Pastor Nate brought the message.  He talked about our tendency to look to signs rather than trust in the gospel of Christ.  His message can be heard at https://archive.org/details/TheSignOfJonah_201404

Unfortunately, our Easter message did not get recorded.

Yesterday, we heard another installment of our Lenten series on the Passion History. We looked briefly at the inscription that Pilate placed on Jesus' cross and the ways it was understood.  We then asked how we understand these words today.  This message can be heard or downloaded at https://archive.org/details/TheInscription

Yesterday at Ebenezer, I continued my Lenten series on the Passion History.  We looked at the women who followed Jesus, mourning for him, as he was led away to be crucified.  And we find that, instead of mourning for his suffering, we should mourn for ourselves.  This sermon can be heard or downloaded at https://archive.org/details/TheWeepingWomen

On Wednesday of this past week, Pastor Kirk Thorson from Larimore, ND brought our message.  It was part of our series "Sermons Preached by Christ's Enemies." His sermon focused on the words of the chief priests, "He saved others, but he cannot save himself." This message can be heard at https://archive.org/details/HeCannotSaveHimself
