Yesterday, at Ebenezer, was confirmation Sunday.  We witnessed two of our youth publicly confess their faith in Jesus.  And our message was directed at them.  That being said, it's something that we all need to hear.  We heard how faith in Jesus is not a one-time event.  It's ongoing.  And we heard of the great blessings that come when we follow him.  This message can be streamed or downloaded at https://archive.org/details/AbidingInTheWordOfChrist

This past weekend, we hosted Pastor Mujahid El Masih.  He shared with us about his life in Islam, his coming to faith in Jesus, his ministry, the persecution he endured, and how God brought him to the United States.  He also shared with us three sessions on Christianity and Islam.

On Saturday, we had our third annual men's conference at Ebenezer.  Pastor Jason Holt, Director of Youth Ministries for the AFLC, was our speaker.  He spoke on the theme: The Slippery Grip of Headship.  In the first session he talked about "Headship and Me," and asked the question, "Am I in charge of myself?" In the second session, he talked about "Headship and Marriage", and asked "Am I in charge of my marriage?" In the third session he talked about "Headship and Parenting" and asked "Am I in charge of my kids?"
