Last night, we finished our Lenten series, "Words from the Cross." Our message focused on the last words Jesus spoke prior to his death, the word os committal. Before dying, Jesus committed his spirit into the hands of the Father. Like Jesus, we too must commit ourselves into God's care because we have no control over death or the life after. And with Jesus' sacrifice, we also know that, when we die, we will be welcomed into his loving arms.
